Identifying the lack of attention to the needs of young runaways in Scotland, Aberlour has driven, in collaboration with a range other partners a national coalition: “1 in 9, The Scottish Coalition for Young Runaways”. Through the work of the coalition and with funding from the Scottish Government, it published “A Scoping Study of Services for Young Runaways”. This is a piece of research that details the current situation and extent of service provision for young people who run away in Scotland.
