Aberlour’s Ardfin Road service receives Community Cashback donation

Aberlour’s Ardfin Road service, based in Prestwick has received a big-hearted donation of £500 thanks to local Royal Bank of Scotland employee Pauline Steven.

The generous donation was given by Pauline, who works in the Ayr branch of RBS, after she received the bank’s Community Cashback Award for undertaking bag packing at her local supermarket.

The donation will help Ardfin Road continue its outstanding work for providing short break respite care, specialist play-schemes and general support for parents and carers with children with a range of learning and physical disabilities.

Pauline Steven, Customer Service Officer at Royal Bank of Scotland Ayr , said: “I’m delighted to be able to support Aberlour’s Ardfin Road. After receiving the cash reward it made sense to donate the funds to a local charity and Ardfin Road was the perfect fit. I hope my donation will give a helping hand to the children and their carers.”

Alan Miller, service manager of Ardfin Road said: “We’re very grateful to Pauline for choosing to donate her Community Cashback Award to the service. It will make a real difference to the children and families we support. The funds will help us to continue developing play-schemes and support services. It’s really fantastic.”
