From the days of our founder Canon Charles Jupp in 1875, we have enjoyed a close and special relationship with the Scottish Episcopal Church.
We remain true to our roots in keeping up the link with Scottish churches and each year we encourage the churches to hold Christingle or Christmas services on our behalf and we are delighted with the response we receive.
Lenten Appeals, Retiring Collections, Easter Services and Harvest Festivals have helped to provide welcome and much needed funds.
Sunday School children have also been very supportive of their peer group and have organised “penny” collections and “silent” hours to raise funds for us.
Various Boy/Girl Brigades have raised funds and asked that they be donated to those children less fortunate than themselves. These gifts are always a pleasure to receive.
