We are committed to making sure that the service you receive, whether it be from our Head Office or Services, meets your needs, is safe and is of a good quality
You are entitled to
- Know what service you will receive
- Be treated with respect
- Have your views sought and listened to
In order to make sure that you receive the best quality service we have put in place procedures and this is split into two sections:
1. Service based complaints, comments and compliments
2. Fundraising complaints
Your comments are always appreciated. They let us know what we are doing well, and where we need to improve.
Comments about any aspect of our work are always welcome and staff are happy to receive them.
As a charity working with children and vulnerable adults, we are regulated by and/or are members of:
The Care Commission
Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education
Scottish Social Services Council
Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator
Fundraising Standards Board
Where your complaint is about a registered care service, you can contact the Care Commission directly if you want them to investigate your complaint. The Care Commission operates a telephone helpline: 0845 603 0890 and information is also supplied on their website. They will investigate, write a report and let you know what they have found. Where your complaint is upheld, they may ask for changes to be made to a service.
