The decision to leave a legacy to charity in your will is a very important one. It means that your generosity can live on and can continue to help Scotland's children beyond your lifetime.
Any gift which may be left to us, would (unless the beneficiary stipulated the use to which it should be put), be used by the Trust to fund the area which had the most need at that time. However, the beneficiary can stipulate in the will exactly how they would like their gift to be used, for example, to fund a specialist piece of equipment in a residential home for children with severe disabilities, or to ensure that each child within a sector has a day at the beach etc. The benefactor may wish for their gift only to be used in a certain geographical area and as long is this is noted in the terms of the will, then these wishes will be adhered to.
