Moray Youth Action provides a needs-led, person-centred service to vulnerable and challenging children and young people in Moray.
Who we work with
Moray Youth Action works with young people in the Moray area aged 12 and over and their families.
Service aims and what we offer
The aim of Moray Youth Action is to provide disadvantaged, excluded and vulnerable young people and their families with support to enable them to gain and retain control of their own lives and remain in their own homes and communities.
This is achieved by providing a range of services that meet the needs of the young people including:
• support for young people aged 12-16 who are vulnerable and challenging,
• mentoring support for young people aged 13-18 affected by problematic substance use.
General service information
The service operates on a needs led basis and therefore the hours vary, often working evenings and occasionally weekends. The office base is open Monday to Friday 9am -5pm.
Referrals for Moray Youth Action come from the Social Work Department.
