"When I first became homeless I didn't have a clue what I was walking into. I went to the council and was thrown into a hotel away from my home town. I felt really low and had drink and drug problems. Then one day I heard from a friend about Aberlour. I met with staff and they helped me with a lot of things. I am grateful for their help and they managed to get me back to my hometown. I am currently waiting to get moved on and I am really grateful for the help that staff have given me".
