One of the issues identified by a range of speakers at the conference was the importance of coordination in the implementation of the Early Years Framework and in the development and implementation of a Parenting Strategy at a local level. The National Parenting Development Project (NPDP) convenes a group of professionals who share responsibility for this coordination. The National Parenting Coordinators Group (NPCG) meets 5 times a year at NPDP’s Edinburgh office to discuss and share practice around the implementation of parenting services across Scotland. Information on the NPCG, and an invitation for membership are available here.
