Local Co-op Store boogies on down for Childrens Charity
An enthusiastic manager from the High Valleyfield Co-operative store will be dancing the night away on Saturday 28th July, in an effort to raise essential funds for Aberlour.
Terry Hood, Manager, said:
"I came up with the idea of having a disco to raise money for Aberlour
as it is the Co-op charity of the year and I wanted to do something that
would raise as much money as possible. I have put a lot of effort into
making this event a success and trying to get as many good raffle prizes
as possible. I hope a lot of people come to the evening and have lots
of fun whilst at the same time, contributing to a charity that does such
fantastic work in Scotland."
Corporate fundraiser John Fyfe said:
"Aberlour is pleased to be the Co-ops charity of the year in Scotland. We rely on both statutory and voluntary donations to carry out our vital work to help children, young people and families reach their potential. Terry has come up with a fantastic idea to raise funds in the surrounding local area of the High Valleyfield store he manages. We wish him the best for his Disco evening on 28th July as he has put a lot of effort into it and I hope that lots of people will come along".
The Disco is at Forth Family Club in Rosyth on 28th July from 8pm till late. Tickets cost £3 per person and everyone is welcome. There will be a buffet and also the opportunity to buy some raffle tickets to win some excellent prizes.
