Aberlour breakfast serves up £70 for Comic Relief, 19/03/2009
Aberlour’s Moray Youth Action service celebrated comic relief in style this morning in Elgin’s Pinefield Industrial Estate, as they served up a tasty breakfast to the local community. A fantastic £70 was raised in the process for Comic Relief.
A traditional Scottish fry up was on offer for as little as £2 and was delightfully served-up by the children and adults who use Moray Youth Action, a provision for vulnerable young people and their families.
Laura Clunas, Moray Youth Action service manager, said:
“We’re over the moon that so many people came along to our fundraiser breakfast to offer their support. We try to do something fun for Comic Relief each year and this time the young people came up with the idea to cook a tasty breakfast. It was a great plan and we’ve managed to raise £70 for comic relief which we’re absolutely delighted with!”
