Stirling University Men’s Rugby Club members set themselves a double fund-raising target recently. To finance their tour to Portugal this year, and to raise much-needed cash for Aberlour, they set out to see how many times they could travel up and down Dumyat in an eight hour period. After a very successful event which raised just over £1000, the boys had a fun time in Portugal and presented Aberlour with a cheque for £515.
Organiser Duncan Fisher said: ’’The boys are really chuffed we could help out a very worthy charity and although I am leaving Uni, I will be encouraging them to do the same next year”!
