The children of Uig Primary school on the Isle of Lewis have donated £100 to Aberlour, the proceeds of a buffet evening for parents and friends. The p4 - 7 children, 12 in number, planned and delivered the buffet evening themselves as part of a topic on food. The school, which has a role of just 21 children, often contributes to local, national and international charities at different point of the school year, but this year thought it would be good to find a mainland Scottish charity. The children did a web search and found Aberlour!
