Our workshop has been given a much needed make over and is now fully operational again.
Much of the work was done by the young people and we passed our Health and Safety inspection with flying colours.
A number of projects have been undertaken by the young people including:
• The refurbishment of two trailers
• Building an off road buggy
• Restoring a small motorcycle
• Attempting to build a custom bicycle and
• A basic car maintenance group
The aim is to engage the young people in positive activities, to develop a sense of pride through achievement by building on interests and skills, gaining awareness of health and safety and associated structures and routines of working in a workshop, and gaining skills to work in a group setting.
