Crannog Service, Stranraer

£19,878 to £31,707 per annum (subject to review)

Crannog Service, primarily funded by Dumfries & Galloway Council, provides a support service for young people (12 – 17 years old) who are experiencing difficulties at home, in school and in their community.  Crannog focuses on the varied needs of each individual young person, producing and implementing individual and group programmes. Crannog works closely with other Statutory and Voluntary agencies to provide a coherent service for young people and their families.

You will be eligible to register with the GTCS and hold a relevant teaching qualification.  Experience of promoting educational attainment and motivation of young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential.  Experience of skill-based curriculum is desirable.
