Statement regarding the Aberlour Urgent Assistance Fund

Aberlour is sorry to announce that our Urgent Assistance Fund is temporarily closed to applications.

We have successfully distributed all £1.34m of donated funds. Our cash grants have helped 3195 struggling families, directly supporting 11,000 people across Scotland.

Unfortunately, we have now exhausted all our existing resources. This means we are currently processing more applications than we can meet and are unable to accept new applications at this time.

We want to thank all the generous donors who have contributed so far to the success of our Urgent Assistance Fund. Your donations have made a huge difference to struggling families across Scotland.

The fund has been a lifeline to families during lockdowns and with the growing cost of living crisis, even more families are requesting support. So, we are making a direct appeal to current and new donors to donate what you can to the fund.

Demand for support has never been higher.

Applications are for grants to pay for family necessities including clothing, food, bedding, and energy costs. Necessities which are only becoming more expensive day by day.

Any donation made will go direct to families struggling to feed their children, keep the lights on, pay for fuel or replace essential white goods when they break down.
