#SpendAnHour on Aberlour

Our supporters help us in so many ways; volunteering, nominating us as their charity of the year at work, and through completing events and challenges to raise funds for our work with Scotland’s most vulnerable children. If you want to get involved, can you #SpendAnHour fundraising so that we can reach children and families in need of help sooner?

There are lots of events you can take part in and we’ve also come up with some creative ways for you to hold your own fundraiser.

Spend a Spooky Hour for Aberlour this Halloween.  We have created a new toolkit bursting with fundraising ideas, which is ideal for workplaces, schools and community groups who are looking for a fun excuse to raise money.

The funds you raise will be used to help children like Kate, who told us “If it wasn’t for Aberlour Youthpoint, I wouldn’t have an education. If I had carried on the way I was going, I would have done so much damage to my body. I’ve had my stomach pumped 4 times. I’ve hurt myself in so many different ways, and I’ve hurt the ones around me. If it wasn’t for this place I would be dead.”  Read more of Kate’s story.

You can download a free-toolkit for lots of spooky ideas about how you can #SpendAnHour fundraising with the kids this Halloween!
