Over fifty years ago, Christingle was introduced to Anglican churches by The Children’s Society. Since then, Christingle has enabled the charity to change the lives of thousands of vulnerable children and young people in England. Many Episcopalian churches in Scotland have celebrated Christingle since 1968, and Aberlour has been fortunate to have benefited from many collections and donations marking this occasion.
It’s been a challenging couple of years, and heading in to the festive season we can look forward to more normal times ahead. Over the last 18 months, Scotland’s poorest families have been pushed further into poverty and may never recover from the pandemic. Children and families need help more than ever. And we know that our Aberlour family, including our incredible supporters, will be there for every child we can possibly reach.
You can help us by taking part in Christingle and by raising funds for Scotland’s children. This festive season shine a light for children and families in desperate need. There are lots of fun ways to keep the Christingle light burning!
Christingle is a fantastic way to get young and old involved while raising funds for Aberlour, and your celebration can be as big or small as you like. Our team are available to give help and support in making sure your Christingle goes smoothly.
Your support means children and families who are struggling can access the life-changing help they need. Your support shows these families there is hope.
Thank you and we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
