In 2025 AbJam celebrated 10 years of young people coming together to have fun, make friends, and speak up about what matters to them. Over the past decade, Aberlour has supported hundreds of young people to take part – building confidence, trying new things and discovering the power of their voice.

As we celebrate everything AbJam has been, we’re also excited about what comes next.

Youth voice at Aberlour is changing and growing, shaped by what young people have told us. We are exploring new ways for children and young people to get involved in this annual Youth Voice Event. This includes making it easier for more children and young people to join, reaching out into our communities, offering associated opportunities that give more Aberlour children and young people a chance to have their say and be part of this platform.

Looking ahead to 2026

We’re excited to be working with our soon to be recruited, Young Volunteers to start shaping a brand-new youth voice platform. Building on 10 years of AbJam, this next chapter will strengthen youth voice at Aberlour in ways that are more inclusive, more accessible and developed together with young people.
