Ros Dowey

Ros has over 25 years’ experience in IT and digital, which has been across the private, third and public sectors. After beginning her career as a consultant and project manager, she has spent the past decade in leadership roles focused on using digital and technology to support better outcomes for people and communities.

As Director of IT and Digital, Ros leads Aberlour’s digital strategy, ensuring technology enables staff to better support children, young people and families. She is particularly passionate about digital safeguarding for young people and about making sure digital services are inclusive, secure and fit for the needs of those who rely on them.

Ros has an LLB (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s degree in Business IT Systems from the University of Strathclyde.
