Valerie Hogg

Valerie has over 25 years’ experience in HR. She originally completed a degree in business studies and started her career as a retail manager, but opted to specialise in HR, completing a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management and a paralegal qualification in Employment Law.

Valerie worked as an HR Advisor with B&Q before joining Aberlour in 2005, where she has worked as an HR Assistant, HR Business Partner, and as the Head of People before moving to the Director of People role in 2025. 

Valerie is passionate about ensuring Aberlour is seen as an Employer of Choice, championing fair work practices, listening and responding to our employees and ensuring recognition is given for the amazing work our services do to support babies, children, young people and families.
