The Scottish Half Marathon and 10k takes place just outside Edinburgh along the East Lothian coastline and is a fantastic addition to the UK’s running calendar.

Both routes are seriously flat and fast – if you want to set a personal best for a half marathon or 10K, then this is the event for you!

• Families tell us their children don’t have adequate clothing, that they aren’t sure where the next meal is coming from, and they are afraid to put the heating on.
