Aberlour, Scotland’s Children’s Charity has joined forces with The Kiltwalk to raise funds to support some of Scotland’s most vulnerable children and young people.
With the backing of Scotland’s leading philanthropist Sir Tom Hunter, The Kiltwalk is looking bigger and better than ever before. Every penny raised from the walks in 2016 goes towards supporting Scotland’s children.
The Kiltwalk hosts kilted walking events across four areas in Scotland, offering various distances so everyone can take part, helping raise funds for Scotland’s children’s charities, including Aberlour. We have been involved with The Kiltwalk for several years and we are delighted to be putting our best foot forward once again, in 2016.
This year’s walks will take place in Glasgow (24th April), Aberdeen (5th June), Speyside (14th August) and Edinburgh (18th September) and you can choose from the Mighty Stride (26 miles), The Big Stroll (14 miles) and The Wee Wander (6 miles). Registration is now open, and participants can sign up to walk for Aberlour on the Kiltwalk website www.thekiltwalk.co.uk.
