Joining the Dots

In May 2016, the CEO of Aberlour, SallyAnn Kelly, Assistant Director Liz Nolan and Perinatal Support Coordinator Angie Rennie, were invited to join The Templeton Expert Group.

The group, comprised of individuals and representatives of organisations actively involved in delivery of care, education and research in the field of perinatal and infant mental health, met to discuss issues currently facing the provision of services in Scotland.  

They produced the Joining the Dots manifesto, a call to action that reflects concerns and priorities for providing adequate care for the mental health of expectant and new mothers and their babies. The call to action was published by the NSPCC in September 2016. .
