The Weir Family Foundation have made a generous donation of £20,000 to support Aberlour, Scotland’s children’s charity.
The money, which was raised through a golf day and black tie dinner at the famous Gleneagles Hotel in June, will go towards funding four of Aberlour’s services across the country:
The money will enable the services to develop and expand the facilities they have on offer, and which will benefit the children and young people who work with Aberlour in these locations.
Aberlour Fundraiser, Sarah Nicholson said, “We’re extremely grateful to the generosity and support which the Weir Family Foundation have shown Aberlour. This is a fantastic amount which has been raised, and which will go a long way to helping some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Scotland.”
