A Milestone Year
It’s an absolute honour to chair Aberlour Children’s Charity as we mark a truly special milestone — 150 years of supporting Scotland’s children and families. Across generations Aberlour has been a lifeline and today, in the face of rising costs and growing inequality, our commitment feels more vital than ever.
Despite the economic challenges, our incredible staff and volunteers strive to improve the life chances of children and families across Scotland struggling to cope. They continue to fight against poverty and discrimination and challenge the government to achieve change.
As demand increases our services have expanded. I’m proud that we’ve been able to support even more children, young people and families and reach more diverse communities.
As our CEO SallyAnn Kelly OBE prepares to step down later this year, we extend heartfelt thanks for her 11 years of transformative leadership, having revitalised the organisation, championed new services, and placed advocacy for children and families at the heart of our work. She leaves Aberlour stronger than ever.
With Justina Murray taking up the mantle as CEO, we remain steadfast in our commitment to sustainability and meaningful change—ensuring brighter futures for even more disadvantaged children, young people, and families across Scotland.
