Gender Pay Gap Report 2026

27 May 2026

At Aberlour, we are committed to fostering a fair, inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. Our Gender Pay Gap Report for 2026 reflects this ongoing commitment, providing a transparent overview of our performance and where we continue to focus our efforts.

The 2026 results demonstrate a consistently low gender pay gap, with a mean gap of 5.59% and a median gap of 4.5%, both of which are below the UK average. This reflects the robust approach we take to pay equality, including the use of a structured job evaluation scheme to ensure that men and women are paid fairly for equivalent roles. As an accredited Living Wage Employer and an Investors in People Platinum organisation, we recognise that fairness extends beyond pay alone, encompassing opportunity, development, and workplace culture.

Like many organisations in the social care sector, our workforce is predominantly female, representing around 85% of employees. This imbalance continues to shape our overall gender pay gap figures, as relatively small changes in male representation can have a proportionally larger impact on averages. Encouragingly, women are strongly represented across all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership roles.

While we are proud of our progress, we remain focused on continuous improvement. We will continue to monitor our data closely, address structural imbalances where they exist, and build on the progress already made to ensure that Aberlour remains a fair and equitable place to work.
