Mother and Child Recovery House Falkirk
We support women and children affected by problematic alcohol and drug use. Our goal is to help mothers stabilise their substance use, prevent drug deaths, avoid children being taken into care, and keep families together.
Aligned with The Promise, we focus on building relationships with families, emphasising strengths and prioritising mothers’ and children’s needs. We empower women to regain control of their lives and create a better future for themselves and their children.
How we help
We offer 24/7 emotional and therapeutic support in a nurturing setting, sensitive to past traumas. We provide a variety of recovery routes, and ensure continued community support after mums stay with us. Our support includes:
- Addressing root causes of substance use.
- Supporting mother and baby relationships
- Evidence-based programmes like “Parents under Pressure.”
- 1:1 and group sessions for recovery and coping strategies.
- Strengthening key relationships in their lives.
We support women for as long as they need, working with local agencies and services in the community.
